The Concord-Merrimack County SPCA is a special admission shelter and we accept all adoptable animals from throughout Merrimack County. Our name reflects our geographic service area, not a governmental body. We are a nonprofit agency dependent on private donations and are not supported by tax dollars. As a special admission shelter we accept adoptable animals in need, but we do utilize an appointment policy to ensure there is space for all incoming animals.

Pennies for Pets

A wonderful volunteer suggested a fundraiser where people could donate their change to raise money for the animals at the SPCA.
Thus, it was decided to call this fundraiser,
"Pennies for Pets".

We are looking for your spare change!

A challenge is being placed to the community to gather those pennies just lying around and donate them to
“Pennies for Pets”.

In doing so you will make a difference in the life of an animal.
The “Pennies for Pets” challenge will benefit the
Concord-Merrimack County SPCA Vet Fund,
which assists us in providing veterinary care to
abandoned, abused and suffering animals.

Our goal is to reach $1,000.00 – can you, your friends, family, coworkers,
teammates, neighborhood or school help meet this challenge?
If so, collect your pennies and bring them down to our shelter, we look
forward to your assistance in helping us meet our goal!

Thank you for your help!
