The Concord-Merrimack County SPCA is a special admission shelter and we accept all adoptable animals from throughout Merrimack County. Our name reflects our geographic service area, not a governmental body. We are a nonprofit agency dependent on private donations and are not supported by tax dollars. As a special admission shelter we accept adoptable animals in need, but we do utilize an appointment policy to ensure there is space for all incoming animals.

The Paws Club is for children 8 to 12 years of age. The club runs the first and third Wednesday of each month at the Administrative Building of the Concord-Merrimack County SPCA, from 3:30 to 4:45. We do require prompt pick up.
Session 3 begins on April 2, 2008 and runs through to June 18, 2008.

THIS SESSION IS FULL
WE ARE TAKING NAMES AND CONTACT INFORMATION FOR THE FALL PROGRAM

Each meeting is coordinated and run by Shannon Camara, Manager of Communications.

Each child’s enrollment into the program provides a snack at every meeting, membership badge, a current copy of our PawPrints Newsletter, KIND News publication, Paws Club t-shirt, educational information and certificate of completion at the end of each session (sessions run in three month intervals).

During Paws Club children will meet staff, tour the facility and learn a great deal about animals through interactive discussions, fun games and creative crafts. We also will have special visitors on occasion!

Our hope...for the children to enjoy themselves while learning about their favorite topic-Animals!

If you have any questions please contact Shannon Camara at 753-9801 or email scamara@concordspca.org.

There is no fee for this club thanks to a grant funded by Build A Bear Foundation. However, space is limited to 12 participants.
